Spring Vegetation in our Yard - 2013

 These are the first blossoms blooming on my Forsythia tree that we planted two years ago.  I was so excited to see these little yellow flowers!!!

These are the first Mayflowers I have picked this Spring....you can almost smell them!!!  They are my favourite!!  :o)

This is my card for MOJO288 challenge this week.  The card stock is craft cardstock, the DSP is from K&Company with random embellishments.

Scrappin' at The Oasis in LA

 These are projects I made this weekend away at a Scrappin' weekend with the girls at The Oasis in LA.  It was a rainy, cold weekend, but lovely to be inside with great friends making cards, pages and other projects.  These two flowers were coloured with my Copi Markers.  The butterflies are dies cut and embossed with The Big Shot from Stampin' Up.

 These are cards I made using a sample from Gina Krupsky at Stamp TV.  I stamped the background paper and then added the embellishments.

 This is an anniversary card I made for dear friends who are celebrating their 13th Anniversary this month.  Happy Anniversay, Trish and Scott!!!

HSCRC13 Hymn # 6 - "Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing"

This is my 6 x 6 page for the HSCRC13 Hymn #6 Challenge.  Please check out the devotional Patter Cross has written regarding this Hymn at http://triplethescraps.blogspot.com.  The Hymn "Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing" is a wonderful Hymn of the Faith.  The Scripture I used to focus on praising the Lord is Psalm 103:2-4. - "Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all His benefits - Who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion."  I am so very thankful that the Lord has forgiven me, healed me, redeemed me and crowned me with love and compassion.

 This is the Birthday Card I made for Jason who turned 30 on Saturday.  Wishing you many, many more, Jay....

This is a Sympathy Card I made for the family of a dear lady who is now spending quality time with Jesus.  Thinking of the Cook family and keeping you in our prayers. 

Random Cards - Secret Sisters

 This is a card I made for Paula Smith who has been leading our Secret Sister Ministry for the past 12 years.  She has been such a blessing with her vision for a church who prays for one another.  Thank you, Paula!!  I love the vintage feel of this card...the DSP is from Michaels - Elegance...all designed to coordinate with one another.  The punches and sentiment are from Stampin'Up, I made the stick pin from various pearls and Swarovski Crystals, the ribbon is from Walmart, the music note washi tape is from Recollections and the pearls are random.  I used Momento Tuxedo Black Ink for stamping and inking the edges for a vintage look.

 This is a card I made for my Secret Sister.  The DSP is from Stampin'Up - Print Poetry Stack, the sentiment is from Stampin'Up - Feel Goods Stamp Set, the ribbon is from Berwick-Specialty Ribbon and the pearls are random.  The ink is from Stampin' Up-Purely Pomegranate.

This is a card I made for the person who had me for a Secret Sister this year.  This card doubles as my submission for the April Challenge card at "The Cutting Garden".  The sketch is a former Mojo Monday Sketch.  Fun to create!!  The DSP is from Stampin'Up - Print Poetry Stack, the ribbon is random from Walmart, the sentiment is from Stampin-Up -Wedding Sweet, the ink is from Stampin-Up - Night of Navy and the rhinestones are from the Dollarama.

MOJO Monday - 287 - Easter Blessings

This is a card I created with two purposes in mind....an Easter Card for my Brother and his family and my submission for the MOJO Monday 287 Challenge.  The cardstock base is beige, the DSP is from Print Poetry Paper Stack from Stampin'Up, the punches are from Stampin' Up and Martha Stewart, I pierced the background paper, the sentiment was printed with my printer, the bling is random and the paper clip is from K&Company - K-Ology - A Whole New Attitude - Metal Art.  I inked the sentiment with Night of Navy Ink from Stampin' Up.  I love how the papers in this stack coordinate so well together....Thanks for stopping in!!  Blessings!!
