Valentine's Card

This is my version of the Valentine's Card we made at Club 10 this month. My "buckle" is a bit lopsided, however, I again am using the new SU paper which I really love along with the new punch. Added a little heart brad for interest.

Valentine's Gift Bag & Card

This is the cute little Valentine's Gift Bag we made at Club 10 on Tuesday Night at Ruthie's. Had a great time with lots of creativity and chuckles along the way!! I love the new DSP from Stampin' Up called Sending Love Specialty. We also used the two new punches from SU which were great!!!

Hello!!

Just a note to all my friends in Blogland....So sorry that I have not posted anything for four months!!! I could not believe it was that long when I signed-in. Life is crazy to say the least. Just wanted to remind you all of The Living Christmas Tree Presentation being held this weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Hope to see you all there!!! There are still tickets available.
p.s. For all of you who make cards to send to our soldiers serving in Afghanistan....I received a lovely letter from Caleb MacDonald who is in charge of the platoon we sent out last box of cards to. He wanted me to thank you all. The cards were truly appreciated and were gone before they knew it. We sent over 978 cards this time. May God bless you all in your service to Him!!

Merry Christmas!!!

Birthday Celebrations!!

I have made this card for a very special young lady who is celebrating her 21st Birthday tomorrow. Happy Birthday, Katie!! I used green Bazzill Cardstock as the base for the card, the sentiment is from the Upsy Daisy Stamp Set from SU, stamped on white and matted on pink and green cardstock. The background on the card is a photo of the lovely Icicle Plants shown on a previous post. I embellished the card with dewdrops and ribbon.

Gods' Beautiful Creation!!

I popped in to the Harbour's End Restaurant in Pubnico Head last week to pick up lunch and they had these absolutely gorgeous Icicle Plants in their window boxes. The sun had come out and so these plants opened up to show us God's Glory!!! I asked permission to take some photos. Just had to share them with you!!! Awesome, eh??

MOJO97 - Praying for You

Good Morning!!! The sun is peeking out!!!! Going to be a lovely day!!!! Praise the Lord!!!!
Got to play in my craft corner last night and this is my card for dear friends and the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge for this week. I used a lime green Bazzill cardstock as my base, matted the Raspberry Tart DSP from SU with white Swiss Dot cardstock. The tree stamp and sentiment is from the Thoughts and Prayers Stamp Set from SU. The tree is stamped on white cardstock, matted with green Bazzill cardstock which have been cut and embossed with the Spellbinders Dahlia Nestabilities. The edges were inked with SU Purely Pomegranate Ink. I also added white organdy ribbon (SU) and two buttons from my button jar. The photo corner punches (SU) were punched from green and pink Bazzill cardstock.
