mytimess 30 - thank you so very much

This card is my submission for Lauren M's mytimess 30 Saturday Sketch Challenge. I found the butterfly vellum in a stack of patterned paper when I recently renovated my family room which I adhered over Bazzill Cardstock and SU Urban Oasis DSP. The yellow dotted cardstock is random cardstock I purchased at a local supply shop. The butterflies and word stamp are from the SU Flight of the Butterfly Stamp Set. I have also added green grosgrain ribbon and Robins' Nest Dew Drops. The photo corners are punched with the SU Corner Punch. The inks used are SU Pumpkin Pie, Always Artichoke, Purely Pomegranate and Chocolate Chip. Again something to look forward to with Spring being here!!

mytimess 31 - (thoughts of you)

This is my sketch for Lauren M's mytimess 31 Saturday Sketch Challenge. I loved this paper from Bloom & Grow/Bloom Daisy Chain by Zoe Pearn as well as the Cottage Gingham by Scrapbook Walls. The cardstock is Bazzill. The flowers are Handmade by Floral Doodles
and the brads are Glitter Brads. The (thoughts of you) stamp is by Kolette Hall. This card reminds me of our lovely Spring weather and the little flowers that are popping up all over!!

I made this card for Laurens' Saturday Sketch Challenge - Oldie But Goodie. If you look further down my blog you will see a decor element I made for our renovated family room. I made a collage of photo frames using SU Urban Oasis DSP with SU Decor Elements Flourishes. I love how it turned out. However, I have a few sheets of the DSP left. So, I used these papers to made this sketch challenge, along with some new flowers I found from Bohemia. The middle navy blue flower is crochet which I just love!! I also used the SU corner punch, SU "Thanks" from the retired "Sketch It" stamp set and large glitter brads. The brown cardstock is from Bazzill.

"God is our refuge and strength"

"God is our refuge and strength, therefore we will not fear." Psalm 46: 1,2

I made this card as an encouragement to friends who had recently lost a loved one. The scripture is so true.....God truly is our refuge and strength....Praise His Holy Name!!!

Wall Art

I love this wall art I made which I found on SCS for our newly renovated family room. I used SU DSP Urban Oasis, frames from the Great Canadian Dollar Store and Decor Elements - Flourishes from SU. I really love how this turned out!!

1 Cor. 13:13

This is a card I made for a friend to take to a wedding in Quebec. She said the wedding colours were red and white, therefore had the opportunity to made good use of SU's DSP - Cerise. This is such as awesome scripture for two young people starting their new life together.
