Paper Crafting - Family Tree Shadow Box

This is a Family Tree Shadow Box I made.  Now that it is finished, I see things I would have done differently, however, I am pleased with the final product.  The DSP is from K&Company - with random embellishments....brads, buttons, doilies, flowers and ribbon...matches our new paint colour on the walls...  Thanks for popping in for a visit.  Blessings on ya!!

HSCRC13 - Hymn # 5 - "Cleanse Me" (Search Me O God)

This is my 6 x 6 page for the HSCRC13 - Hymn # 5 - Hymn and Scripture Challenge from Patter Cross at Triple the Scraps.  I love this hymn as it is taken from one of my favourite Psalms...# 139.  I plan to memorize this Psalm sometime before I meet the Lord....Please check out the devotional and history of this Hymn at http://triplethescraps.blogspot.com

If you are wondering why I have uploaded these past three challenges on the same day...our Bible Study was cancelled last night due to a snowstorm....so I thought I would stay in The Word and get caught up on my projects which I have not had time to do over the past month.  The cardstock for all these projects came from The Metallic Stack from DCWV and the DSP is from The Four Seasons Stack from DCWV.  I will be using this DSP for each of the projects throughout the year.  The Scripture verses are taken from the NIV.

Thanks so much for stopping by....Blessings on your day!!

HSCRC13 - Hymn # 4 - Worthy of Worship

This is my 6 x 6 page for the HSCRC13 - Hymn and Scripture Challenge Hymn # 4, being led by Patter Cross at Triple the Scraps.  Please check out Patter's blog for the devotional and study of this wonderful Hymn of our faith at http://triplethescraps.blogspot.com .  God truly is so worthy of our worship.....as simple and complicated as that is....our worship of God should be so simple, but we as humans complicate our worship....I pray I come before the Lord in simple but so very thankful worship of Who He is!!!  Praise His Holy Name!!!

HSCRC13 - Hymn # 3 - My Faith Looks Up To Thee

This is my 6 x 6 page for the HSCRC13 - Hymn and Scripture Challenge Hymn # 3 from Patter Cross at Triple The Scraps.  Please check out Patter's blog for the devotional associated with this Hymn at http://triplethescraps.blogspot.com.  Wonderful devotional which confirms Where our faith is placed.

Kreations Klub - March, 2013

These are the cards we made today at Kreations Klub.  Some new products with the 1st card...the dress makers form....I was not sure whether I liked this set or not...but after playing a bit....I have decided that I quite like it....truly reminded me of playing with paper dolls as a little girl.  New technique with the 3rd card...blackboard....heat embossing and sponging...I quite like the effect...I also love the Raspberry Ripple Ink with coordinating DSP...goes really well with the Lucky Limeade Ink.

Lots of fun and a much-needed break from a stressful week...I am so thankful for my crafty friends...Thanks for popping in!!  Blessings!!

Two Signs of Spring

Two signs of Spring....an Easter Card and Daffodils!!!  Preparing a box to go to BC for Easter so made this simple but bright and cheery Easter Card to go along in the box.  My daffodils have been growing for a couple of weeks, so thought I would capture them this morning.  The sight of daffies coming up always tells us that Spring is on its way.  Hope you have a great day and thanks for popping in!! :o)
