mytimess 30 - thank you so very much

This card is my submission for Lauren M's mytimess 30 Saturday Sketch Challenge. I found the butterfly vellum in a stack of patterned paper when I recently renovated my family room which I adhered over Bazzill Cardstock and SU Urban Oasis DSP. The yellow dotted cardstock is random cardstock I purchased at a local supply shop. The butterflies and word stamp are from the SU Flight of the Butterfly Stamp Set. I have also added green grosgrain ribbon and Robins' Nest Dew Drops. The photo corners are punched with the SU Corner Punch. The inks used are SU Pumpkin Pie, Always Artichoke, Purely Pomegranate and Chocolate Chip. Again something to look forward to with Spring being here!!

  2. Great card. I like the dew drops on the butterflies and how you set off the sentiments with photo corner punches.

  3. Hi Cindy,
Don't have your e-mail address to send the directions...so I'll post here!
    Cut paper 5 1/2 x 12

    scored at 2" 4" 6" & 8"

Measure in on the both long sides 1 1/2" and cut from the 2" score to the 10" score. I do this right on my small cutter. Works like a charm. The pattern paper is 5 1/2 x 12" The two side pieces are 3 3/4 x 5 1/4 with 1 1/2 x x 2 piece cut out from the top and bottom. Those pieces are then cut down to 1 3/4 x 1 1/4. You will end up with four of those. Now cut your remaining pattern paper - 2 pieces 1 1/4 x 3 3/4 and 1 piece 2 1/4 x 3 3/4. If you're going to emboss on the paper do it now. The glue everything together. Now fold on the lines. DO NOT fold on the score line where the sideway T is. Finish with your embellishments.
