These are photos from a walk over to the beach last weekend where we enjoyed a fabulous sunset and campfire. The view is so spectacular...There is no way to describe the smell of the ocean, the sound of the water....even when there are no waves....there is still a sound of the water....a seagull or Canada Goose flying overhead....and then of course, the smell of the campfire....just a little one this time....not a bonfire....quiet conversation...a walk along the beach with Maggie....we are truly blessed!!
You can almost hear the water hissing as the sun sets in it!!!

This photo was taken on our walk back home from the beach....there is a pond between the beach and the road which is called the Goose Flats. It is brackish water (a mixture of salt and fresh water) where all types of water fowl, Canada Geese, ducks, etc. nest. If you click on the photo and look closely there is a Blue Heron looking for an evening snack....
