Christmas Cards 2012

Sorry that I have taken so long to update my blog....work was busy before the Christmas break...then there are all the Christmas Celebrations....visiting with family and friends....etc...So, we have a snowy day today and I decided to upload photos of the Christmas Cards and Gift Tags I made this year.  Some were made at Card Classes with Coralie, some were made a our Kreations Klub, some were made at a Stampin' Up Expo in November and others were my own creations.  Most of the cardstock and DSP are from Stampin' Up with a mixture of Stampin' Up and random embellishments.

Wishing you a very Happy New Year and many blessings!!

Kreations Klub (October, 2012) / Box & Random Card

This is a box I made to hold cards.  Makes a lovely Hostess /Birthday/Christmas Gift, etc. for anyone who loves to give handmade cards.

This is a card I made for the new Mayor of the Town of Yarmouth!!  I just know she is going to "Bloom Where She is Planted"!!

These are the cards we made at Kreations Klub on Saturday.  Love new new cardstock from Stampin' Up that you sand.  It is great to work with and makes a lovely background for your cards.
In this card we made the trees which was so much fun and then spritzed them for some shine....added some bling and glitter and there you have it!!
This card also has been glittered....(What is a Christmas Card without glitter??).  I can see many of this card being made to send in the mail....

This is a cute little card with the same background paper as above, except we did not sand this one...the paper has a lovely, velvety feel...I coloured the bells with my copic markers....

Thanksgiving 2012

These photos are of a One Sheet Wonder Box (please go to http://alwaysstampinblogspot.com for the directions and a wonderful video) I made for my niece, Jordan Jean, for Thanksgiving with a bit of a Halloween twist.  I used Orange Bazzill 12" x 12" cardstock for the base and then embellished the sides with paper from Little Yellow Bicycle - Booville 5 x 7 Paper Tablet...added Halloween Deco Brads from Karen Foster Design and ribbon from Michaels.  Of course Jordan is a little scrapbooker like her Auntie so I filled the box with a small photo album with items for her to use to embellish the pages.

These are Thanksgiving Cards I made using variations of the same theme....Used DSP from the Booville Paper Tablet, the tree and leaves stamps are from Inkadinkado (Fall Season), the pumpkin stamp is from Stampin' Up, inks are from Stampin' Up, punches from Stampin' Up, cardstock is Recollection (Spice Market) from Michaels and the embellishments and ribbon are random items from my stockpile. Did I ever tell you I LOVE buttons....bling...ribbon....LOL.  Happy Thanksgiving!!!  Drop me a note sometime... :o) Blessings on ya!!!

Kreations Klub - September, 2012

This is the Twisted Card we made today at Kreations Klub.  Makes a pocket card for a gift card of gift of money...note, etc.  Looks intimidating, but Ruthie had all the DSP cut out for us already so we saved time.  Love the Christmas Paper from Stampin' Up called Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack...all double-sided papers in a 4.5' x 6.5' stack.
Love this card made with the Baja Blue coloured Ribbon...used the new Delicate Designs Folders Embosslits folder from Stampin' Up along the edge, the stamped images are from the new Bootiful Occasions Stamp Set from Stampin' Up which was stamped on white cardstock which was punched with one of the tags from the Two Tags Bigz Die Cuts.  The image was then matted with a piece of DSP from the Festival of Prints DSP Paper Stack.
This background image was embossed on the new embossing paper from SU, added the Delicate Designs Folder Embosslits and sanded with the SU sanding block.  Added a flower, Sentiment, ribbon and topped with a pearl.
This card has a vintage feel with lovely articles all from Stampin' Up.  Love these colours together... :o)

Kreations Klub - August 2012

These are the cards we made at Kreations Klub yesterday.  Love these cards and will definitely make them again. Most all supplies are from Stampin' Up with bling added.  We had so much fun getting together...seems like a couple of months is way to long to go between making cards with our Klub.  :o)

Engagement/Kreations Klub Tic Tac Toe Card

This is a card I made with two events in mind.  One was the engagement of a lovely couple and very dear friends and the other was for our Kreations Klub Challenge this month.  Ruthie (our esteemed leader) sent us   a challenge for this months' Klub which meets later today.  She sent us a Tic Tac Toe board with different ideas for embellishments, colours, etc. on a project...could be a card, scrapbook page, 3D layout, etc.  The three items I chose to incorporate into my card were flowers, punches and ribbon.  Of course, I had to add a little bling with pearls and a pearl stick-pin in the ribbon.  There is also a glitter brad in the center of the flower.  The flower was made with Making Memories flowers, the oval punches are from SU and ? (edge punch), the pearls and stick-pin are from Making Memories, the ribbon is from Berwick Specialty Ribbon, the DSP is random paper I had on hand, the cardstock is Ivory Confetti from SU and the sentiment stamp is from  Inkadinkado.  I love using black and ivory/white on a card....so chic!!  Blessings!!
